After you’ve been cracked wide open.

“You don’t have to say anything. You don’t have to teach anything. You just have to be who you are: a bright flame shining in the darkness of despair, a shining example of a person able to cross bridges by opening your heart and mind.” ~Tsoknyi Rinpoche, Open Heart, Open Mind: A Guide to Inner Transformation

Breathe. You are not alone.

If you’ve found me here, welcome to my virtual home. Though I’m not here with you in the flesh, know I’m infusing every word with the intention of holding you in love and light in your suffering. Whether you are in the midst of coping with a loss of any kind, (a person, a pet, a job, a marriage, a dream, or a sense of yourself), or grappling with a complicated life-transition, it is my hope and prayer that you find comfort in knowing it’s possible to integrate your pain into the tapestry of your life to regain a sense of love, compassion, and Joy.

I’ve been a therapist for 30 years, but it was not until many years after the sudden death of my younger brother, Rocky, that I was able to merge my knowledge, spiritual practice, and beliefs with my heartache to more fully awaken to the beauty and fragility of life. We are spiritual beings that are having a human experience for our continued evolution. As difficult as it may be to understand, everything that happens to us, is for us, to deepen our compassion for self and others. We are always choosing to live either from fear or love. When we choose love, we choose freedom.

It’s been nine years since I was cracked wide open after Rocky’s death, and I feel he’s been guiding me from the other side. Through my healing process, I began to embrace my intuitive gifts and trust the downloads I would feel when meeting with clients, friends, colleagues, and strangers. The more I trusted, the more my heart opened. The more my heart opened, the more information became available to me, which gave me the courage to quit my three-decade-long journey as a leader in the mental health field. It was then I could rock my shine by stepping fully into my passion to help people open their heart-mind where true wisdom, compassion, and love stem from and emanates into the world to satiate our hunger for peace.

It would be a great honor and privilege for me to walk side-by-side with you on your transformational journey where you will discover how truly powerful you are at your essence.

All my love and light,

Susan
